An estimator who has only worked from a desk counts fittings. Our team of consultants has run mechanical jobs as superintendents and project managers, so we understand labor units and know what it takes to hang the duct and run the pipe — duct in a ceiling full of sprinkler main, a cast iron stack through four floors, a water service under a slab in January, forty miles from the nearest supply house.
I came up through the sheet metal trade in Alaska — apprentice, journeyman, general foreman — then co-owned a sheet metal contracting company and worked as a project manager, superintendent and consultant in Alaska and Texas.

Our team of consultants brings field and management experience across plumbing, mechanical piping, sheet metal and HVAC, insulation and controls. Every scope is taken off in the same detail, by system and floor, with labor units checked by people who have run that work.
